Community Outreach
STEM Day
We have another great opportunity to be part of one of Clemson's STEM Outreach events! STEM Day is an all-day virtual event on February 20, 2021 that is split up into two sessions: 9 am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. This event gives young students the opportunity to learn about different disciplines in engineering and the careers associated with them.
SWE will be presenting on the topic of Health and Wellness. This topics is about the use of engineering in the medical field and focuses a lot on bioengineering. The goal of these sessions is to introduce the topic and provide an activity for the students to do along with us on their own.
We are looking for 2-3 people to be a part of each session. Please email Laura Stuart if you are interested and if you are able to work one session (and which one) or all day. If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to email her at lstuart@g.clemson.edu
